In September 2017 during my leave of absence from Williams College, I travelled to Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico for the first time in nearly a decade. The trip proved to be more than a regular family visit. It was a challenge of my beliefs and state of mind. The visit was nothing but inspirational as I struggled with questions of identity, motivation, and morals. Here are several images captured throughout the two-week stay in a negative color scheme. Ranging from my family to food, each image encapsulates a unique story and lesson for my well-being. Click each photo for its name and full story.
